The Big Chop

In Indonesia, boys are required to have short hair for school. It was high time anyway, it was starting to affect his vision!

Surrender.

Showing interest.
Unsure.
Not happy, Dad!

  1. That's awesome!

I hated having my hair cut soooo much as a kid. I've still never been to a hairdresser.

  3. Meant to also say I took a very displeased Lach to the hairdresser last week to have his hair neatened up. He said to me towards the end of the hair cut "Tell the man I think the hair cut is APPALLING." haha

  4. Thanks Sally!

Byron, earplugs were not enough! Roosters under the window at 2am sound VERY loud. The kids were never bothered by the early morning noises. Amazing how quickly one adjusts, we longer need the earmuffs :-) Not sure if earplugs not good for kids..

  6. I can almost see their logic in requiring the chop - he seems to have been transformed from an intrepid explorer into an academic.

Actually, I'm confused - the classic academic would be more long haired. Still, there was something - maybe the look makes me think of 'serious student'! :)

  7. G'day Soren,

Love the hair cut mate, although your hippy dig was quite cool too.
